May Theme

The beauty of the monthly themes is that they can be used in any home or classroom by parents, educators and teachers. The child, parent, educator or teacher does not have to be Montessori educated to use the materials, they are designed for all children in each stage of their development. The theme guide details how to present each of the materials and at which stage and ability of the child between the ages of 3-6 years.

Mary Anning was an English fossil collector, dealer, and palaeontologist who became known around the world for the discoveries she made in Jurassic marine fossil beds in the cliffs along the English Channel at Lyme Regis in the county of Dorset in Southwest England.
