Our monthly themes are suitable for children ages 3-6 years. The “three part cards” sometimes referred to as Nomenclature cards consist of a picture-only card, text-only card, and the full card (or “control card”) containing picture and word. They are appropriate for children who have not yet learned to read and for emerging readers. It can also be used with non-verbal children to determine if they understand by pointing. The greatest advantage of these cards is their versatility. They can be used for a variety of things, including improving language skills, expand vocabulary, improve spelling, matching, sequencing, reading, writing, classification and much more.
