About Me
Hi, My name is Indie,
I am a dedicated, creative Montessori mum and certified Montessori teacher with experience leading engaging activities using the Montessori method. I studied for 2 years in Muscat, Oman where I received my MACTE Early Childhood Montessori Diploma for ages 2-6 years. I also have a EYFS Early Childhood Diploma and have studied several online short courses and workshops in Early Childhood Education.
My Montessori journey began just after the birth of my daughter. It all started with and a simple Instagram account back in 2018 when I began posting Montessori inspired materials and DIY activities I was doing with my daughter at home. Since then my online presence and following has grown substantially. It was ultimately my daughter and online audience that inspired and motivated me to create and develop My Little Montessorian.

My background
Prior to having my daughter I worked for many years as a theatrical, media and special effects hair and makeup artist Internationally. For every photoshoot I would make everything from scratch, from wigs to costumes and props. I have directed countless editorial and avant-garde fashion shoots. Mentored by Val Garland and Sam McKnight I created looks for an array of brands, designers and magazines. I am also the founder and creator of Twisted Skins Fx.
I have always been creative, even as a child I felt I thought differently or I could see the world differently to other people. I experience intense “binocular rivalry” — seeing two different images as a combined one which explains my colorful and creative career choices.
